Marcel Avram was born 1938 in Bucharest, Romania. His parents are of Greek and Romanian-Jewish descent. War, chaos, the struggle to survive and religious battles shape the first 10 years of his life. With his parents, he emigrates to Israel. Influenced by the post-war years, his faith helps him to come to grips with this difficult phase.
